You can send as well as receive messages from people who are members of YouTube community. The messages system will display your photo and name next to the message you enter. Therefore, before you utilize it, you will need to confirm your name on YouTube. In order to send messages on YouTube, you will have to go to the channel of the individual whom you want to contact. This can also be done by clicking the name of your channel below one of their videos. You can do so by clicking on the person’s channel name below one of his videos.
Following this, go to the About Tab and click on the Send message. Then, type your private message and click on the Send option. In order to read the private message which you have received on YouTube, go to the Messages page. You can go there by clicking on the top right side of your account>Creator Studio. On the left menu under Community, click on the Messages option.
In order to subscribe a video, you will need to open your web browser and go to YouTube homepage. Then, log into your account in case you haven’t done it. Then, click on the page’s search term area. Once you have done that, type a search term for a username or video. Then click on a video name of the video you intend to view.
YouTube enables creators to have some authority on their commenting and messaging settings. To access all these settings, you will have to navigate to the Community sections and go down to Community settings. In this area, you will come across different settings which can be configured. First and foremost, you will need to create automatic filters. You can approve users on YouTube also so that their comments and messages are visible.
In case you have at least 5000 subscribers, you will require access to Credits which you can utilize for highlighting contributions of your collaborators with a credit. It will appear on your video below the description. In order to add credits to your videos, you will need to open the video you intend to edit. Then, on the basic info tab, scroll down to the section of ‘’Video Credits.’’ Add a role and find out the collaborator by typing their username on YouTube. Once the changes are done, click on save changes.
